Images to PDF

Turn JPG, PNG or WebP images into one PDF, one image per page, at A4, US Letter or the image’s own size.

How to convert JPG to PDF

    1. Choose your images, or drag them onto the box above. JPG, PNG and WebP all work.
    2. Put them in the order you want with the arrow buttons, and pick a page size.
    3. Press Create PDF. One image becomes one page, and the PDF is saved to your downloads.

    About converting images to PDF

A PDF is the practical way to send a set of photographs as one document: scans of a passport, photos of a receipt, a page someone shot with a phone instead of a scanner. Every operating system can open the result, the pages stay in order, and nobody has to unzip anything.

This tool places each image on its own page. A4 with margins and US Letter with margins scale the image to fit inside a standard sheet, switching to landscape when the image is wider than it is tall, which is what you want when the file will be printed. Same size as the image gives a page exactly as large as the picture, with no white border, which is better for screen reading.

Images are embedded at their original resolution: JPGs are placed as they are, without a second round of lossy compression, so a photo in the PDF looks exactly as sharp as the file you chose. PNG and WebP are embedded losslessly.

    Questions about images to PDF

How do I combine several JPGs into one PDF?

Choose all of the images at once, order them with the arrow buttons and press Create PDF. Each image becomes one page, in the order shown.

Does converting reduce the quality of my photos?

No. A JPG is embedded exactly as it is, with no re-compression, and PNG and WebP images are embedded without loss. The PDF looks as good as the original files.

    Which image formats are supported?

JPG, PNG and WebP. WebP is converted to lossless PNG inside your browser before being placed in the PDF, because the PDF format itself has no WebP support.

Can I convert HEIC photos from my iPhone?

Not directly, because browsers cannot decode HEIC. Setting the camera to “Most Compatible” saves JPGs instead, and sharing a photo through most apps converts it to JPG on the way out.

Why is my PDF so large?

Because the images are kept at full quality. A dozen 12-megapixel photos make a large document by definition; resizing the images before converting is the way to get a smaller file.

Can I make a PDF from pictures on my phone?

Yes. On a phone the file picker offers your camera roll, and the PDF is written to your downloads just as it is on a desktop.
